Stand and Bang w Matt Brown and Anthony Birchak

Alright fight fans its been a long time coming, but we finally get to talk with one of our all time favorite fighters, Matt Brown. The Immortal one  starts off by telling us that he doesn’t dwell on past mistakes, and he plans on showing us a whole new Matt Brown in his next fight. I try to get him to exand on that, but of course no fighter is going to reveal his new tricks. He tells me it isn’t personal, and he leaves that sort of thing up to his coaches. We get a little knowledge dropped on us about his new MMA training equipment company, and he explains how a whellbarrow might be a fighters best friend. Then Fred takes over and the show takes off! He gets Matt to talk about the UFC not letting fighters walk out to Hatebreed, and how the band ended up writing a walk-out song just for Brown. Finally Matt tells us the crazy story of being in the club in Ohio when Dimebag Darrell got shot on stage!!

In the second segment Kirby and I express what has been rubbing us the wrong way lately in MMA and then we are joined by Anthony Birchak, fresh off his KO win over Joe Soto. We get Anthony talking about Mexican-American fighters since UFC 188 is still fresh in out minds, and he lets us know the phoenix is producing some MMA monsters right now. We tease Anthony a little bit about letting Ian Entwistle get that pesky heel hook, and we get to hear just how happy he is about getting Soto out of there faster than Dillashaw could. Anthony finishes up by telling up he want Aljamain Sterling for his next fight.

This is a fun one folks, don’t miss it!!
