We are joined by Australian Muay Thai legend and Lupinee champion John Wayne Parr! John is gracious enough to sit with us and fill in some of the blanks from his documentary ‘Blessed with Venom’. He also give the MMA a fans a little Muay Thai 101. We discuss his early days in Thailand and how he became so integrated in to Thai life. Alright fight fans its been a long time coming, but we finally get to talk with one of our all time favorite fighters, Matt Brown. The Immortal one starts off by telling us that he doesn’t dwell on past mistakes, and he plans on showing us a whole new Matt Brown in his next fight. I try to get him to exand on that, but of course no fighter is going to reveal his new tricks. He tells me it isn’t personal, and he leaves that sort of thing up to his coaches. We get a little knowledge dropped on us about his new MMA training equipment company, and he explains how a whellbarrow might be a fighters best friend. Then Fred takes over and the show takes off! He gets Matt to talk about the UFC not letting fighters walk out to Hatebreed, and how the band ended up writing a walk-out song just for Brown. Finally Matt tells us the crazy story of being in the club in Ohio when Dimebag Darrell got shot on stage!!
In the second segment Kirby and I express what has been rubbing us the wrong way lately in MMA and then we are joined by Anthony Birchak, fresh off his KO win over Joe Soto. We get Anthony talking about Mexican-American fighters since UFC 188 is still fresh in out minds, and he lets us know the phoenix is producing some MMA monsters right now. We tease Anthony a little bit about letting Ian Entwistle get that pesky heel hook, and we get to hear just how happy he is about getting Soto out of there faster than Dillashaw could. Anthony finishes up by telling up he want Aljamain Sterling for his next fight.

In the first segment Fred and I are joined by Brandon “Rukus” Thatch. We get things started off right by talking with Brandon about his time at the latest RFA event and Michael Schiavello giving us some hilarity while annoucing Danny Mainus in a fight. It is “my anus” jokes galor. After we catch our breath we talk with Brandon about his disappointing loss to Benson Henderson. He explains that it was nerves and too much respect for Bendo that lost him that fight. We talk about his upcoming fight at UFC 189 against John “Doomsday” Howard and Thatch makes sure we know that even though Howard is on a losing streak he isn’t overlooking him. Fred gets Brandon to open up about his father Clarence, who is a Colorado striking legend, and getting to meet the Gracies at a very young age. Brandon finishes up with us by visiting the story about his badly broken toe, and giving us his prediciton in the Cain vs Werdum fight.
In the second segment undefeated Jame “The Texecutioner” Vick starts off by talking about his win over Jake Mathews in Adelaide. We get the unfortunate news that he has a torn labrum in his hip and will be out of the game for 6 months, and get him to tell us just how much he wants to get back the fight he lost to Michael Chiesa. Then we get James to open up about some crazy Texas bar bouncing stories. Tell you what everything is bigger in Texas, even the bar fights. We finish up by revisting Ben Rothwell’s evil laugh after UFC Nola, and give some quick opinions on what my have been the event of the year so far!
