“Iranian Hulk” Sajjad Gharibi signs with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championships

The social media sensation and would be combat sports combatant Sajjad Gharibi, better known by his given moniker “The Iranian Hulk”, has finally signed with a fight promotion.

Announced Saturday, November 16 during their live pay per view BKFC 9, the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship announced they had signed Gharibi to fight deal yet to be publicly disclosed.

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship first debuted back in 2018. The promotion has featured notable talents from both mixed martial arts and boxing such as Jim Alers, Ricco Rodriguez, Charles Bennett, Kendall Grove, Chris Lytle, Joe Riggs, Chase Sherman, Leonard Garcia, Eric Prindle, Joey Beltran, Bec Rawlings, Shannon Ritch, Bobby Gunn, Jason Knight, Chris Leben, Artem Lobov, and even former WBA (World Boxing Alliance) Welterweight champion Paulie Malignaggi.

Though having made his desire to compete in combat sports known, Gharibi has yet to fight under any professional sport or promotion. However, numerous rumored bouts as of late have floated around the social media realm.

Gharibi himself is a  active user of social media and usually posts about his thoughts, meals, and his routine daily program.

BKFC has not yet announced who Gharibi will first compete against inside the ring. However the promotion plans to have the internet juggernaut compete sometime in 2020.
