Heavyweight up and comer Jairzinho Rozenstruik will face the biggest test of his young career in his next bout.
Coming off another strong performance; African fighter Jairzinho Rozenstruik will replace Walt Harris against Alistair Overeem to headline UFC on ESPN 7 on December 7.
Harris, who was originally scheduled to headline opposite Overeem, bowed out of the fight due to a deeply personal matter in regards to his still-missing step-daughter. If any readers have any information regarding this matter please contact Walt Harris.
Undefeated in his career, Rozenstruik (9-0, 3-0 in UFC) will take a step up in competition to face Overeem after earning three straight wins to kick off his octagon tenure. In addition to his knockout over Arlovski this past weekend, the 31-year-old heavyweight from Suriname has also finished Junior Albini and Allen Crowder in his past performances inside the Octagon.
As for Overeem (45-17, 10-6 in UFC), he looks to build momentum with knockouts over Sergei Pavlovich and Alexey Oleynik marking his past two appearances. Overeem, a former Heavyweight title contender, will enter his 17th bout with the UFC come December and has seven finishes of his 10 in the Octagon.
UFC on ESPN 7 will take place at the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C and will air live on ESPN on December 7.
