Former Flyweight champion Nicco Montaño will be making the move back up to Bantamweight.
In her divisional debut with the promotion, she will face former Bantamweight title challenger Sara Mcmann.
McMann (11-5, 5-5 in UFC) will be looking to snap a two-fight losing streak after recently falling to both Ketlen Viera and Marion Reneau. McMann will be looking to break over even after amassing a 5-5 record thus far in the UFC. The former Olympic silver medalist holds wins over fellow former title challenger Alexis Davis and current Flyweight contender Jessica Eye.
Montaño (4-2) has not competed since winning the inaugural women’s Flyweight title back in December of 2017. She eventually was stripped of the belt from the UFC after a string of injuries and illnesses kept her from competing. Montaño will now be moving up to Bantamweight, a division she had competed in twice before joining the Ultimate Fighter.
UFC on ESPN+ 13 takes place at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California on July 13 and will stream live on ESPN+.
