Welterweights Belal Muhammad and Takashi Sato are now set to meet at UFC 242.
Muhammad (15-3) is coming off a judges decision victory over Curtis Milender last month at UFC 236. The Chicago native is 6-3 in the Octagon so far, with notable wins over Jordan Mein and Tim Means. Of his 15 career wins, four have come by way of knockout.
Sato (15-2) is a Pancrase veteran who most recently made a successful Octagon debut against Ben Saunders, winning by way of TKO in the second round last month. The Japanese fighter is 7-1 in his last 8 and of his 15 career victories, 10 come by way of knockout.
UFC 242 takes place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates at a venue that has yet to be determined on September 7. The event will stream on ESPN+ via pay per view.
