Monday evening the MMA world was shocked and saddened by the news that the popular MMA fighter Kevin Ferguson who was known by the name “Kimbo Slice” died at the young age of 42. Slice was taken to the Northwest Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida Monday afternoon and soon after had passed away.
“We lost our brother today,” Imber said in a text message to The Associated Press.

Kimbo Slice competed in the top two MMA promotions in the world and since the news of his passing, Bellator has released a statement on his tragic passing.

His loss leaves us all with extremely heavy hearts, and our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Ferguson family and all of Kimbo’s friends, fans and teammates.”
