The highly anticipated fights at UFC 198 is just one day a away. Today all the fighters hit the scales to hit their mark for their first trip to Brazil in 2016. UFC 198 will be held in Curitiba in a soccer stadium housing over 40,000 people.
The biggest concern today at the weigh ins were if Cris Cyborg would be able to make the cut, after reports that she was 3 pounds over this morning. Cyborg put every ones fears to rest, when she hit the scale today and weighed in one pound lighter then she needed to be.
The main event at 198 will feature UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum defending his title against #3 ranked Stipe Miocic. The co-main event is a middleweight clash between Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza and Vitor Belfort. Also on the main card is the the long awaited debut of Cris Cyborg as she takes on Leslie Smith in 140 pound catch weight affair.
