UFC 199 will take place June 2016 and released just today, as part of the main event, new
Middleweight Champion(152)Luke Rockhold will rematch the man whom he took the belt
from, former champion Chris Weidman (131).Both fighters will be looking forward to testing

When Rockhold entered the UFC back in 2013 he was just known as the former Strikeforce
Middleweight Champion, as his confidence kept growing inside the octagon we started to see a
fighter who is very skilled in all areas of MMA, as shown over his victories over Michael
Bisping, Lyoto Machida and Chris Weidman. This will be the California native’s first title
defence and we will see if he can make it a successful one.
His opponent is also one of the top fighters in the 185 pound division and he is the former
champion, Chris Weidman. Back in 2011 when Weidman made his UFC debut we witnessed an
elite wrestler with great submission technique. Fast forward about five years and “The All
American” has evolved into an all around mixed martial artist, acquiring knockout power over
the years. Demonstrated over knockouts over Mark Munoz, Vitor Belfort and former champion
Anderson Silva. If he wants to reclaim the Middleweight belt he will have to dig deeper than he
has ever before and try and solve the riddle of the current belt holder.
Which 185 pounder will have their hand raised and the UFC Middleweight Championship
around their waist? Tune in to UFC 199 in June on payperview.
