Coming in HOT King Mo has his sight set on a BIGGER prize
King Mo is coming off a big tournament win in Japan, as he competed in the Rizin heavyweight tournament. After mauling his way through the competition Mo has stated that he wants to fight Fedor Emelianenko and possibly make a run at the Bellator heavyweight title. King Mo was supposed to be in the finals for the light heavyweight tournament back at Bellator Dynamite 1, but an Injury forced him out of the finals. With his exit Phil Davis went on to win the tournament and now is next in line for Liam McGeary title. Either way Mo has options, and if he does choose a heavyweight run a potential Fedor fight would be nice but I personally would like to see him fight Bobby Lashley.
UFC 197 Rumored Super Card: McGregor Vs Dos Anjos, Holm Vs Tate
Early on in the week the rumors started to spread that a super card is going to be announces for UFC197. With the location being moved to Las Vegas, it looks like White made sure that the event being relocated wouldn’t be the main headline surrounding the PPV. Everyone has been waiting to see if The Notorious one will defend his featherweight title against Frankie Edgar or will he move up in weight and take a shot at the lightweight title against Rafael Dos Anjos. Conor has stated that if he wins that he will be a double champion and defend them both. Some might want Dana White to make Conor drop the featherweight title if he moves up so another contender can have a shot at the gold. If McGregor does have two titles then that could become a conflict down the line with PPV’s. Dos Anjos is the real deal, and has been deadly to everyone that he has faced in the past year plus. No doubt Dos Anjos would be McGregors biggest challenge to date, and if the fight does happen there is no doubt that it will be a barn burner. Also on the card is the new UFC women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm defending her title against Miesha “Cupcake” Tate. Dana announced that Holly’s first defense will not be the rematch with Rousey, but it will be against what some say is the real #1 contender the always dangerous Tate. Miesha Tate earned her spot agisnst Rousey back in July when she defeated Jessica Eye, but White and the rest of the matchmakers thought it would be better for Rousey to face Holm. Though it proved to be the right move, Tate still deserves her shot and now it looks like it’s going to happen. Holm might be the favorite here but unlike Rousey Tate has a different approach to her game that will throw Holm off. When this card gets announced it will be huge, and it will set some PPV records.
