Two Titles On The Line In The OC; Full Invicta FC 15 Card Finalized

Not sure if you mixed martial arts fans are aware of this but Invicta FC now has a podcast. The all women’s top tiered professional mixed martial arts promotion has recently launched Invicta FC Radio. On the first episode they released the rest of the previously announced event’s card Invicta FC 15 that will take place next month. A week ago the promotion debuted four fights including the two title matches involving Cris Cyborg Justino and Livia Renata Souza. Each lady will defend their titles on January 16th live from the The Hangar at OC Fair in Costa Mesa, Calif. The full nine fight card has a nice amount of intriguing matchups in the featherweight, bantamweight and strawweight division’s including a fight that has contendership fight written all over it. Kansas City, Mo. – The nine-fight card for Invicta FC 15 has been finalized, set to stream live and exclusively via at 9 p.m. EST / 6 p.m. PST from The Hangar at OC Fair in Costa Mesa, Calif. on Saturday, Jan. 16.

Earlier this week, Invicta Fighting Championships announced four fights — including two world title match-ups — for the promotion’s first show of 2016. Yesterday, on the debut episode of Invicta FC Radio, the official podcast of Invicta Fighting Championships, four additional match-ups were made official by Invicta FC President Shannon Knapp.

In the strawweight division, Lacey ‘The Ladie’ Schuckman (11-8) squares off againstMizuki Inoue (9-4), while Christine ‘Knuckles’ Stanley (4-1) meets Shannon Sinn(2-2) at flyweight. A pair of featherweight fights join the card in Amanda ‘The Lady Killer’ Bell (3-3) vs. Ediane ‘India’ Gomes (10-4) and Megan Anderson (4-2) vs.Amber Leibrock (1-0).

The bantamweight bout between Raquel ‘Lionheart’ Pa’aluhi (5-4) and Colleen ‘Thoroughbred’ Schneider (9-6) rounds out the nine-fight event.

Invicta FC 15 is headlined by reigning Featherweight Champion Cristiane ‘Cyborg’ Justino (14-1, 1 NC), defending her belt against Russian-born grappler Daria Ibragimova (9-1). Two undefeated fighters vie for Invicta FC’s Strawweight Championship in the co-main event, as Livia Renata Souza (8-0) puts her title on the line against DeAnna ‘The Argentine Assassin’ Bennett (8-0).
